MAD-HOG Steve. The Fame, the lies, the dreams, drugs and the deaths

I met MAD-HOG Steve at Distorted Pitpull Records and he seemed very calm as I walked into the room. But when I began asking
questions he became angry. This is what happened that afternoon with MAD-HOG.

Q: When did you first meet Grand-Bang-Dan and Ben Dover?

A: One day I was at this really weird restaurant, and there was some sort of freestyle performances on stage. After some poor

performances they both entered the stage and acted out “The Dark Crazy Festival beyond the light ages”. And I knew then, that they both had
something that other artists never can reach. And that is originality, a love for the art form music that is so big that they would die
for it, and true honesty to each other and the music they create.

MAD-HOG Steve orders in another round of beers and shots (drinking sounds)

Q: So you created The Dopesters? Then you must…….. MAD-HOG Steve interrupts me.

A: I never said I created The Dopesters. The Dopesters created them selves. I’m their producer, friend and fellow dopester.
They write their songs, they record it and I produce it. They perform, and I support them, that’s how it works.

Q: What did you first think when you heard what The Dopesters sounded like and what did you think about the concept?

A: Well, the music of The Dopesters is something that I cant explain. I just knew when they showed up with their demo tape,

In full insane-psycho-dopester make up and an attitude that was beyond this earth. I, I, knew they would become the greatest.

MAD-HOG Steve is getting drunk and doesn’t seem to be that pissed with me anymore. He orders another round, but now Tequila.

Q: What do you think the future has in stored for The Dopesters and their dopee fans?

A: Well, Ben Dover thinks that he’ll become some sort of president, or something like that. But musically, I think that The Dopesters sound
is the future of the rock n roll revolution. And after The Dopesters are done, the music scene will have a need for more bands like this. It’s true.

Q: What do you have to say to those who blame The Dopesters for deaths and so on?

MAD-HOG Steve throws a glass full of beer in my face.

A: It’s people like you that suck! F**k em all! That’s what I and The Dopesters say. Hope you’ve gotten your answer!

MAD-HOG Steve tips the table on me and leaves.

I survived it all, but it was all worth it. I met a legend, a legend that put The Dopesters on the star map. And hopefully they’ll burn the map as well
